TransForm celebrates first go-live connecting Epic and Meditech sites to Ontario eHub
This week, TransForm SSO celebrated its first go-live connecting Epic and Meditech sites to the Ontario eHub Health Information Exchange (HIE) – a significant milestone connecting all three hospital Health Information Systems (HIS). In partnership with Project AMPLIFI, two additional Oracle Health hospitals were connected with Long Term Care (LTC) homes via the Ontario eHub HIE.
This means that any time a patient visits a participating hospital or LTC home, their care provider will have real-time, electronic access to their secure, up-to-date health information. The addition of two-way exchange of patient data between Oracle hospitals and Epic and Meditech hospitals expands the connectivity across the health care continuum to affect better, more efficient and coordinated care.
TransForm is the project management lead for 63 hospitals in Ontario using the Oracle Health HIS as part of Project AMPLIFI.
